Want to help deliver Show Me's goals?

With the Show Me Community Interest Company now set up, we are starting to work on several strands of the Show Me project.


If you'd like to join in, take a look below to see how.


Initial project strand focus:

  1. ICT Professionals in Special Schools: We have several partners schools and their ICT managers ready to join in the pioneer "ICT Professionals" group. Through a series of calls we'll discuss and agree a common approach to using touchscreen devices apps in schools to develop app learning guides. If you are an ICT manager or senior staff member in a UK special school and would be interested in getting involved, please use the Contact Us section on the homepage.

  2. Resources and Funding: We are starting discussions with several technology companies in the touchscreen device, app and technology space. If you work within any company in the space and would be interested in finding our more, we are keen to start a discussion with you.

  3. Neuro-scientific learning in special schools research project: We have a research project with Tomas Ortiz, Professor of the Department of Legal Medicine, Psychiatry and Pathological Anatomy at the School of Medicine, Computense University in Madrid. The project will with around 50 children in Special Schools in the UK, deploying vibro-tactile stimulation techniques to measure the improvement in attentional processes in learning. We seek funding and partnerships for this innovation research project, with more details are available on request.
